WHY SHOULD I REGISTER?
We want to keep our community honest. Only registered buyers can rate sellers and see optional contact information. Registered buyers will also receive exclusive monthly emails regarding upcoming Chicago events and Chicago entertainment news.

WHERE DO THE TICKETS COME FROM?
Tickets can come from season ticket holders, fans who had a change of plans, or ticket brokers.

WHY ARE TICKETS PRICED SO HIGH OR LOW?
Ticket prices are determined by the seller, but sellers are encouraged to keep ticket prices at or below the ticket’s face value.

WILL ALL OF MY SEATS BE IN THE SAME SECTION OR ROW?
Check with the seller before purchasing to ensure that the tickets are together.

ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR BUYING TICKETS?
Absolutely not!

IS MY PURCHASE GUARANTEED BY HAPPYFATICKETS?
No, your purchase is not guaranteed. We simply provide a marketplace for you to make the call. Use seller ratings and your best judgment when purchasing.

HOW DO I AVOID BEING SCAMMED?
We can only offer our best suggestions as to how to have a safe and smooth transaction. First, meet in a very public place. Second, use PayPal or a credit card to purchase tickets, never wire funds. Finally, never give out your personal information (bank account number, pin, social security number, PayPal login, etc). Always rate the seller after a purchase, to prevent others from being scammed.

FOR SELLERS:

WHY SHOULD I USE HAPPYFANTICKETS?
Just like you, we are fans and we are tired of the high fees affiliated with ticket sites. You’ll never have fees when selling on HappyFanTickets.com. You also never have to repost your tickets, our system will sort your tickets based on price or quantity so that you find the perfect buyer faster.

DOES HAPPFATICKETS EARN COMMISSION ON SALES?
No, for individual ticket sellers HappyFanTickets charges no fees. Ticket brokers, however, may be subject to charges that individuals are not - see “FOR BROKERS” section.

HOW DO I SET THE PRICE FOR MY TICKETS?
That is entirely up to you, however, you must certify that whatever price you list for your tickets is the maximum you will charge for those tickets. We recommend not exceeding face-value. Be fair to the fans!

HOW DO I COLLECT MONEY?
That is also up to you. We are not involved in the actually exchange of money, so decide on a situation that both you and the buyer are comfortable with.

FOR BROKERS:

WHY SHOULD I USE HAPPYFANTICKETS?
There’s often a certain stigma attached to the term broker. Break free of those chains by allowing your customers to rate you, proving your trustworthiness and reliability. You can also post last minute tickets, we won’t take down an event until it’s completely over.
